"The Earl David Hotel, Coaltown of Wemyss.
 
It was named after David Earl, the second Earl of Wemyss and was built in 1911, and has been the heart of the village for many years.
 
Owners have come and gone many bringing the community together but some that never quite had what was needed to bring the pub back to the villagers and become the heart of this community, which has been a detriment to a building that is steeped in history.
 
It is our mission, to bring a village pub back to life and bring new guests and customers into our village and our lives and maybe even decide to stay!"
