"La Gondola Restaurant is a family run restaurant. It has and continues to be managed by Luca and his wife Elaine Martone. Luca, not only manages the restaurant, but is the head chef and personally oversees all dishes being prepared and served for his valueable customers.

His cooking style originates from his home town of Benevento, a small town close to Naples. Neapolitan cuisine has ancient historical roots that date back to the Greco-Roman period, which was enriched over the centuries by the influence of the different cultures that controlled Naples and its kingdoms.

Luca has brought the knowledge of this rich cuisine with him to Scotland and upon starting with La Gondola Restaurant has been committed to serving quality Italian cuisine for his regular and new customers. We have tried to include as many dishes as possible originating from Naples in the La Gondola Al'carte menu.

The menu has an abundance of dishes based on classic ingredients (pasta, vegetables, cheese), seafood dishes (fish, crustaceans), variety of famous pizzas from Naples as well as classic Italian meat dishes. If you are looking for great food, good service, attractive prices and good management - the whole package - then we can offer the lot!"

"What fun - this has been on my bucket list for a long time and Yeh! I finally did it - I can not recommend this highly enough - you get almost 2 hours in the water - first half is showing you what to do and keeping safe. the second part is the free swimming.

There were kids and old folk - like me - and great fun was had by all.

My wife was apprehensive but one of the instructors gave her some one to one training and she got the hang of it and had fun too."
