"BHS approved Scholland Equestrian at Kilconquhar is a main centre for the Riding for the Disabled Association and offers trekking, woodland hacks and trail rides for all competent levels. You can even get a little starstruck if you like as one of their tremendous Fell Ponies was part of HRH the Duke of Edinburgh's driving team! Plus the couple who run the place have a huge amount of experience in every area of equestrianism including being international competition riders!

Friendly and professional lessons delivered by experienced leaders are available for all ages over around 5 years; Private Lessons last around 45 minutes and will include experience in tacking up. "Located on the south side of the old harbour, St. Andrews East Sands is a popular beach destination for both locals and visitors to Fife. The sandy beach has a path on the inland side, making it an ideal location for walkers. It is also within close proximity to the harbour and sailing club, so perfect for a wide variety of water sports.

East Sands is situated on the Fife Coastal Path and is well serviced by a variety of amenities. A nearby car park, toilet facilities and first aid facilities make it one of the most accessible beaches in the area, while the children’s play area, on duty lifeguards during peak season and cafe make it a great destination for families.

Fishing, surfing, swimming, kayaking and windsurfing are some of the most popular activities at St. Andrews East Sands.

Beach users are encouraged to keep their dogs under control in line with the Scottish Outdoor Access Code"
